Food Handler Training Certificate Program California Food Handler Requirement This Food Handler Training Program is ANSI accredited and meets the SB 602 & SB 603 requirements for Food Handler Training in the state of California. All persons working in a food service establishment operating in California are required to have a valid Food Handler Card. In order to fulfill this requirement, an individual must participate in a training course, and pass a written exam. The self-training slideshow, study guide, and online exam offered through were designed to satisfy these training requirements. Upon completion of the training course, study materials, and successfully passing the written exam, a Certificate (valid for 3 years) will be available for download and printing.
