Cursive Writing Manuals And Brain Development Research

This is an easy to use, methodical, introduction and practice to traditional (Zaner-Bloser) cursive. The lower-case letters are introduced first and grouped according to letter formation starting points. After each of the four groups, students practice connecting the letters into words.

After all the lower case letters are learned, students practice writing using common nouns and sight words. Next, the upper-case letters are introduced and grouped according to letter formation starting points. Students learn two new upper-case letters and then practice writing five words for each letter. Proper nouns or academic words are used when possible. Finally, students practice their cursive handwriting by copying the fable, “The Lion and the Gnat,” the months of the year, and the days of the week. Also, The Tale of Peter Rabbit (open source) is included for copy work. All the starting point “tails” have been inserted so that students are able to observe and copy without error.

Also, several cover pages are included so students can have their own cursive “book” if you choose. I hope you enjoy! I appreciate your feedback!!
