Lcac Technical Manuals
Individual develops/modifies TMs in Contenta (Standard NAVSEA Integrated Publishing Process (SNIPP) related to LCAC SLEP, LCAC LCM, and SSC LCM Planning Yard activities. Reviews drawings, CCDs, ATPs, and work specifications in order to develop/revise TMs. Must be competent in graphic illustration and technical writing skills.
Writes, rewrites and/or edits technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences. Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing product developers, observing performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals. Oversees preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts. Conducts quality review of materials.
BA or equivalent + 6 yrs related experience, or MA + 4 yrs related experience Other Qualifications - Knowledge of LCAC life cycle and modernization - Knowledge of Standard NAVSEA Integrated Publishing Process SNIPP - Knowledge of LCAC SLEP, LCAC LCM, and LCAC Planning Yard Activities - Secret Clearance is required - Must be competent in graphic illustration and technical writing skills.
